a) What is word Processor?
Ans: Word processor is a computer program that you can use to create, edit, view, format and print text documents.
b) What is word Pad?
Ans: Word Pad is a basic word processor program that comes with windows operating system.
c) Write the different parts of Word Pad window?
Ans: The different parts of Word Pad window are: Quick Access Toolbar, Title Bar, Ribbon, Rular, Text Area, Control Buttons, Status Bar, Zoom Control etc.
d) What are the different methods for selecting document?
Ans: The different methods for selecting text in the document are:
1. To select a word : Double click on particular word.
2. To select a paragraph : Triple click on any word in particular paragraph.
3. To select all the word in the document: press Ctrl+a button from the keyboard.
e) What is difference between copying and moving text?
Ans: Copy text means to copy the text from one part of your document to another part. Copy command doesn't remove the selected text from the original location.
Moving Text (Cut command )means moving text from one part of your document another part. Cut command remove the selected text from the original location.
f) What is the use of undo command?
Ans: Undo command is used to cancel last action that you have done in the document.
g) What do you mean by formatting document?
Ans: formatting means arranging the texts in the proper manner. For example: Font style. Font color, size, alignment etc.
h) What is the shortcut key to save document?
Ans: Ctrl+s is the shortcut key to save document.
